Welcome back to your new-look local pub in Oxshott.
Nestled in Oxshott and the gorgeous Surrey Hills, our newly-refurbished pub is perfect for all kinds of pub-goers.
Landlord Chris and our exceptional team are proud to provide service with a smile, serving crisp pints, flavourful cocktails and gorgeous, rich reds from the bar, in fireside corners. Soak up the true pub atmosphere with a pint and one of our (many) bar snacks, grab a table for a long, lazy Sunday roast or book your parties and events with us.
Head Chef Toni and our kitchen team serve the very best of fresh, seasonal British dishes packed with flavour and are passionate about championing British farmers. Our seasonal menus and Sunday roasts are curated to delight, and best served alongside a bottle of one of our best wines.
Stop by and say ‘hi’, experience the brand-new Bear.
Chris, Toni and the team can’t wait to welcome you.
Whether you’re supporting Northern or Southern, or just love rugby, The Bear in Oxshott is the venue for all atmosphere for all supporters. Dine from our incredible autumn menu, with sport-viewing fuel, delicious Sunday roasts for Sunday fixtures, or grab a pint and settle into cosy corners with fireside viewing.
Our kitchen team make the most of the best seasonal British produce, serving up fresh, vibrant dishes full of flavour and colour. It’s all about easy-going, feel-good food that brings a proper taste of the season to the table: perfect for enjoying with a pint in good company.
Whether you’re gathering with colleagues for a festive lunch, raising a glass with friends over expertly crafted Christmas cocktails or bringing the whole family together for a traditional three-course Christmas Day feast, our beautifully decorated pub is the perfect place to celebrate. Filled with festive charm, seasonal cheer and a warm community spirit, we’ll make every Christmas get-together one to remember.
Sundays are a ritual, gathered around a table with your nearest and dearest. Start with a richly-spiced Bloody Mary, decide between our piled-high plates with the best seasonal ingredients, choose a just-because-it’s-Sunday sweet-treat, or after-dinner cocktail. With us, Sunday afternoons turn into evenings, lazy lunches turn into one-more-drink and our Sunday roasts will leave you asking ‘shall we do this again next weekend?’.
Our brand-new, oh-so-seasonal Winter Cocktail menu is here – and designed for long-and-lazy afternoons cosied up in the pub.
Dive into serves jam-packed with cosy flavours from crisp white peach, to fruity lychee and warm pomegranate. Drinks crafted for cold weather indulgence (because one simply isn’t enough).
Whether you’re planning a birthday, an engagement do or a get-together to remember someone special, we’ve got just the spot here in Oxshott. Our pub’s full of cosy corners and welcoming spaces, perfect for bringing people together.
When it comes to food, we keep things flexible. Think easy-going buffets, sharing boards, or a laid-back set menu all made with fresh, seasonal ingredients to suit the occasion.
We love your four-legged friends as much as you do, which is why our pub’s the perfect pit stop for both you and your dog after a good countryside stroll. Expect a warm welcome, plenty of fuss, a few treats on the house, and a bowl of “canine IPA” (just water, of course).
All in all, it’s a proper Surrey spot where you and your pooch can kick back and feel right at home.
We know finding gifts are hard, which is why we have the perfect option. Why not gift their favourite local? We’ve got plenty of gifting options, from a round of drinks or to treat them to one of our well-renowned Sunday roasts, and everything in between.
Leave it all to us—from the planning to the food and the good times. Our What’s On page is packed with great events, so there’s always something going on at the pub.
